Procedural Flakes

Procedural Flakes node can generate randomly oriented flakes with the specified density. It's useful to connect this node to the Bump slot of Material to get the look of metalic flakes on metal material. The Layer node can combine the flakes of different scale and density to make complex looks.

It can be useful to change the Flakes output mode to greyscale IDs and map them to the Gradient Ramp node to generate the colored flakes.
