Hardware Settings
Harware Settings can be changed in Cinema 4D preferences and they are global for all scenes. The link to the Hardware Settings is also available in Render Settings.
GPU Settings. The GPUs participating in the render are selected in this list.
Texture Settings. Also there are options to setup the CPU texture cache size to make it limited and not to occupy the entire RAM for scenes with too many textures. The textures not in the RAM are streamed from the disc to RAM and to GPU very efficiently.
As soon as CentiLeo builds the texture cache files *.cntx for images to accelerate consequtive scene launches and prepare for potential out-of-core texture streaming it can be useful to setup the Disc storage / Cache folder for all generated texture cache files.
By default the texture caches are generated only at the first request and they are saved together with original texture files. However, sometimes it can be useful to change the Disc storage to the single cache folder for all textures. This folder path is specified in Cache Folder parameter. If the later option is selected then all the texture caches will be saved in the Cache folder and it will be easier to clean up the space and remove them once they are not needed.
It's usually recommended to use the SSD drive for texture cache storage, however this is not very critical.
It's usefull to redirect the texture caches files to the single location also to enable the Bitmaps from Asset Browser.
