CentiLeo for 3ds Max 0.586 available - speedup 2x to up to 10x, added many new shaders and emission

Hi Kirill,
Yes, Win 10.
I will post more info about the noise problem.
Corona's problem is strange to me tried on another PC and the same problem.

Hi dear Centileo devs
Congratulations on the progress made in improving the noise.

I noticed after installing Centileo, Corona render cannot load (MAX 2020)
Mix shader is gone.
Good progress in noiseless renders but after 32 Iteration a simple interior renders appearances very noisy.
some
A few suggestions:
-New technologies like Optix denoiser for unbiased mode can help for noise clean renders.
-CentiLeo is a special engine with potential a Light cache solution for secondary GI can help a lot.
-Ability to add emissive objects in blend light passes.
CentiLeo for 3ds Max 0.553 available - displacement mapping!

Nice updates.
Is there any update to 0.56 for max version?
CentiLeo for 3ds Max 0.483 available (multi-GPU and efficiency improvement)

Hi Kirill,
Tested by 0.462 ,0.471 and same problem as 0.483.

Hi,
after installing centileo changing on UI like toolbar and menus will reset after reopen 3dsmax.
Interior test

Yes emulated.
32 min is excellent via unbiased solution for this noise clean render.

For displacement working with a modifier is more convenient and more manageable specially in big projects.
Interior test

This scene rendered on a 970m (I was wrong about the graphics card I think is 940m)
Render time 32:46

Hi Kirill,
In the first thank's to you for making this render engine.
most of the materials like walls made in Quixel DDO and ported it via my script from Quixel to max.
material contains normal + displacement slots for walls and bars.

controlling displacement with maps is a little hard and this was a problem in CentiLeo I think if disp works as a modifier is very better.

all of materials in this scene converted to a fake GGX looks in second reflection or multimaterial with a simple script.
for windows glass I created a multimaterial with 2slot of glass and mask those with a dirt texture.
rain in the left side created with PFlow+Frost and right side of the window created with superflow for those don't have access to Frost and just make it translucence.

For those who are interested in this scene they can bump this thread and I will make a tutorial after CentiLeo be more stable and more complete.

Hi,

This is my test via CentiLeo 0.471 in our fundamentals of modeling and rendering for arhviz workshop.
Hope you like it.

Status of preparing CentiLeo 0.48 alpha

amazing progress in noise reduction, fantastic work.

My vote is adding GGX just the problem of GGX in my opinion is when rough=0.6 or greater looks very very rough and useless.

Love the looks of 0.48
Absolutly fantastic.
Thank's Kirill.

Hi Kirill,
Thank's for the updates.
hope you add oren nayer diff model in CentiLeo material.
Is there any chance for this?

So you didn't increased the number of ray bounces to get the picture on the left?
I just added a point light as GI contributer.
Work's perfect.

Thank's for this gift.

Hi Kirill,

1) When light is switched off with checkbox the dropdown box for Type is deactivated. And when it is switched on again then the dropdown box for Type is not activated again. I think it can be always be active regardless of on/off state.
Fixed

2) We have too many tweaking controls for the light source. And there is no yet textures there. Will need to think how to make it more ergonomic. At least the Multiplier can be removed, becuase there is Intensity there
Will update it via new features and try to keep it simple and useful

There are some exceptions regarding garbage collector when installed it to Max 2014 and run the light lister. However it was running together with 2017 and IPR in both Max instances. Will have to check it alone.
Will take a look at it.

Thank's for letting me know.

Yes and it will be an easy assignment with selection of light pass in emission material GUI.
Very good this is very better than mesh lights.

Just needed to fix some intensity issues and waiting for mesh lights and emission material.
My current idea is to make emission material which can be blended via Multi Material and be attached to any object.
So I currently think there is no need to support some special mesh light. Just emission material with masks in multi-mat.
In my opinion emission material is very better than mesh lights and managing those in the scene is much more easier, just I have a question:

Can we add emission materials to light passes for light blend purposes?
