This IPR has lots of really useful features, but one thing that kinda bothers me is that you can't navigate in the IPR. Having 2 views is pretty space-consuming in my small-screened laptop
I think this would be very useful if it's added in a future update, since it can speed up workflows. Thank you!

that would help too, but i think it's far more convenient to be able to navigate around in the IPR itself. I could use C4D's interactive render region, but it's not fully realtime and it's pretty slow.

Oh do you want to navigate in IPR same way as in standard modeling viewport? I have seen this is possible when rendered image is placed onto viewport itseft with all that manipulation gizmos and so on. It can be done in some future.
